Highlights of 2021

This year of 2021 has been challenging one for many due to Covid-19 and all its variants. However, members of the USS Maximillian were able to enjoy some activities during the year. Below are some of the highlights:

June 2021 - The Maxolympics picnic at Blendon Woods Park

July 2021 -  Trip to the Summer Moon Festival in Wapakoneta, OH

August 2021 - Trip to Dragon Con in Atlanta, GA / photo op with William Shatner

November 2021 - Trek Bowl Tournament at Capri Lanes

 

 

Ohio Covid-19 Mandates to Expire

Good news! Governor Dewine has declared that the mask mandate and most other Covid-19 related restrictions will expire on June 4, 2021. The USS Maximillian hopes to resume normal operations in the near future. Stay tuned for further details.

Fighting the War Against Coronavirus

The USS Maximillian is on RED ALERT until further notice.  We are under attack by the Coronavirus.  All crew members and their families are confined to quarters until the emergency is over.  We're asking all citizens of Planet Earth to please do the same. PLEASE STAY HOME so that our defenders on the front lines can do their job without being overwhelmed by incoming victims. Please stay tuned to this channel for updates on when the crew and all American Citizens will be returning to active duty.

Gaming Event on February 8

The USS Maximillian will host its first event of 2020 on Saturday, February 8 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. This will be a mega gaming event.  If you've been wanting to learn how to play games like Dungeons and Dragons or Magic the Gathering, members of the crew will be there to teach and mentor. If you already know how to play there will be groups forming to do so during the day.  A variety of other games will be offered as well for those who want to try something different.  So get your dice warmed up and come out on the 8th for a day of fun!  Our meeting will follow at 6:00 PM after the event ends.  Location is VGMX at 1489 Schrock Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43229.

January 2020 Meeting

The first Max meeting of 2020 will be held January 11 at the VGMX on Schrock Rd.  We'll be discussing plans for activities for the upcoming year.  New members are always welcome and
membership is free!

The Great Geek Fest

The USS Maximillian will have a recruiting table at the Great Geek Fest which takes place on Saturday, October 19 at the Main Branch of the Delaware County Library.  This is a free event that
runs from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
