Away Mission: Summer Moon Festival

Members of the USS Maximillian embarked on a journey to Wapakoneta, OH on July 20 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.  The day included a trip to the Armstrong museum, exploring downtown Wapakoneta, concerts and a historic tour which included a stop to see

Marcon 54

It's official, the Maximillian will have a fan table at Marcon this year!  This will be the first time our club has attended in several years and we're very excited.  This year's Marcon will be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Schrock Rd. & Doubletree Rd.  We'll have some interesting displays and activities at our table and will also hold a raffle to raise money for the Humane Society of Delaware Co. and also to support some of our club's activities.

Since our May meeting falls on Marcon weekend Chris has invited the club to hold the meeting in his hotel room with a party to follow for all Max members.  We ask everyone to bring some snacks or other goodies to share.  Meeting will  begin at 7:00 PM because someone will have to watch the table until then as required by the convention.

We hope all our members will be able to attend and are asking that each member take a turn watching our table if possible, even if only for an hour, so that everyone can have a chance to attend panels and activities and shop in the dealers room.  We're counting down to a weekend of FUN!  Do you have your costume(s) ready?

April 30 Movie Outing

On Tuesday, April 30 there will be a Max movie outing to see Avengers End Game.  We'll be attending the 6:10 show at the Cinemark theater at Stoneridge Plaza, corner of Morse Rd and Hamilton Rd.  We'll meet by the Subway restaurant next to the theater around 5:30 for anyone who wants to grab a bite to eat before the show.

April Meeting

This month's Max meeting will be held Saturday, April 13 @ 6:00 PM.  Location is the VGMX store at 1489 Schrock Rd near the intersection of Schrock and Karl Rd.  All are invited to come and join us.

Movie Outing

There will be a movie outing to see SHAZAM! on Tuesday, April 9 at the theater at Stoneridge Plaza, corner of Morse Rd. and Hamilton Rd.  Show starts at 7:00 - we'll meet outside of the theater around 6:30 PM.

Upcoming Activities

There will be a Max Movie outing this Tuesday, March 12 to see Captain Marvel.  We will meet at the Stoneridge theater in Gahanna (corner of Morse and Hamilton Rd) around 7:00 PM to attend the 7:30 showing.   Tuesday is discount night - tickets are $5.00.


On Sunday, March 17 The Columbus Toy & Collectible Show will be held at the Ohio Expo Center (Fairgrounds).  CLICK HERE FOR INFORMATION & TICKET PRICES. This show runs from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
